Enchantment in Pink She came to me with stars in her eyes A soft bundle of pink from the skies Sweetly unaware, she cast a spell on me and filled my heart with utmost glee
A blanket of dazzling pink stars She is heaven sparkling from afar The Essence of Pink, the Color of Divine I am so estatic she is mine
I beg Father Time to move slowly As she yawns and stretches dreamily She is princess of a world so grand Drifting sweetly into dreamland
Baby fragrance, may sweet memories flow Enchantment in pink, timeless radiant glow Emblazoning my life in multi-color ink A baby daugher to keep my world in sync
Prince of Charms The first time I held you in my arms I was totally besotted, O Prince of charms
You are the perfect rhyme in my world
You are enchantment begging to unfurl Your cheeks so healthy and robust You sparkled with fragrant stardust You really are my ray of sunshine With all of nature entwined It feels as if I am holding infinity This is how precious you are to me Baby boy you have charmed my soul You have made me loving and whole Your smile takes my breath away You light up my life every day I see heaven in your star filled eyes You are my universe in disguise Earth God You held me high above the ground
Where sunlight and laughter abound
You kissed away my sorrow and tears
And soothed away the sum of all fears You are my courage when I am afraid to fly
You are the one who taught me how to try Heaven is the shelter of your strong arms Calming my world when it is high on alarm Always here to guide and to hold my hand
This senseless world you helped me understand From the top of my head to the tip of my toes I feel as sacred and as beautiful as a rose With patience and so much thoughtfulness I am blessed with love and endless happiness You are my world, I love you so very much
My Universe sparkles with your golden touch You are the wind teaching my wings to fly Urging me on to reach for the sky You are the greatest man that I know
My earth god, my friend, my true hero A Piece of The Sun It seemed as if little brother had finally arrived
So sang the telegram that was born from big brother
Images of a baby, so soft and gentle to contrive
I saw him basking sweetly in the arms of Mother
Gladness danced as father left for the hospital next day
Happiness and Eternity patiently waited at the gate
Laughing ocean sprays chasing away clouds of grey
Hearts heralded baby’s arrival at a greatest rate
I followed mother and little sister into baby’s room Hoping to get another glimpse of one so drowsy A radiant cherub more fragrant than lilac blooms Jealously guarded by a baby sister way too lousy
Constantly she was like touch-him-not or I will yell Mother and father didn’t seem to notice orknow And I was reluctant to set off alarm bells That for baby brother, my love was dying to flow
Next day brought Time and a whole lot of Pluck
Mother was busy washing baby’s soiled clothes
For a lazing around day father had run out of Luck
And baby sister was still in the Land of Doze
I lay one little finger into baby’s soft palm
It wrapped around softly like soothing balm
And then as I look down deep into midnight eyes
I saw the past, the future, and clear, blue skies
Sunny, my little brother, you are a piece of the sun
I saw you filling worlds...with sundrops and fun
