Amy Ramdass was born in Guyana but now lives in Canada.  She works full time in the accounting realm.  In her spare time, when she is not pampering her family, or romancing the computer, she is outdoors sowing seedlings of happiness.

To walk the humble shores of the poet entrepreneur
And all that  crazy poetic jazz, but what about her?

Amy, Amatie, Indira, Dio! And many more names
To view the world through your eyes, her ultimate aim

Caramel dark, full of light, pretty kind of quiet
Brown sugar aura flows from a healthy diet
Born from an Avatar, reincarnation of Odd
Worshipper of a Ramdass,  proud Servant of God


Made of Earth, some Demerara water and part heaven
Sibling of ocean’s eleven, sister of earth’s seven
Lover of Sun's Ray, ice wine, books, and bellydance
Slave to passions of the senses and romance


On Earth is a son keeping her world on the far spin
Sky and wind, junk and metal and some Darwin
Charming innocence and bubbling brooks of laughter
Nature transformed flowers into one beautiful daughter


Awakened consciousness of an asleep world on earth
To give nourishment to the needy she has taken birth
You think she is self-serving, you think in vain
For those in need...she will rise again and again

 

 And of humanity, a wholeness of six billion parts
She likes to think she is one part of the heart
